SMESPD Circular Letter No. 05: Addendum of Operating Guidelines for JICA assisted Urban Building Safety Project
The document amends the Operating Guidelines for the JICA assisted Urban Building Safety Project by replacing the table defining the composition of Project Management Committee 1 (PMC-1). The revised structure designates the Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division as Chairman, the Project Director of JICA-PIU as Member Secretary, and JICA as an Observer, while assigning Member roles to representatives from Bangladesh Bank, PWD, the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments, PFIs, and various levels of the Financial Institutions Division and Economic Relations Division. These changes apply to all accredited Primary Financial Institutions under the project and leave all other clauses of the Operating Guidelines unchanged.

Regarding addendum of Operating Guidelines for JICA assisted Urban Building Safety Project (UBSP, BD-P84)
Please refer to our SMESPD Circular no. 03 dated 25 September 2016 and Circular Letter no. 03 dated 07 November 2018. With a view to extending financial support for safe working environment of RMG sector and smooth implementation of the project, the following necessary amendments in the Operating Guideline have been made:
1.3 Management Structure of the Project
1.3.2 (3) Composition of Project Management Committee 1 (PMC-1)
The existing table will be replaced by the following Table:
