SMESPD Circular Letter No. 15: Addendum of credit facility for COVID-19 related investments to RMG factories under SREUP
Eligible Ready-Made Garments (RMG) factories are offered pre-finance credit facilities for social-upgradation aimed at improving worker safety, health, and hygienic facilities to address the COVID-19 pandemic. The payment schedule and other conditions for these facilities remain as specified in SMESPD Circular No. 1 dated March 31, 2019. Banks and Financial Institutions in Bangladesh are required to bring the contents of this circular to the notice of their concerned clientele.

Dear Sirs,
Regarding an addendum of credit facility for COVID-19 related investments to RMG factories under Social-Upgradation of SREUP.
Please refer to our SMESPD Circular No.1 dated March 31, 2019, the Guideline for Program to Support Safety Retrofits and Environmental Upgrades in the Bangladeshi Ready-Made Garments (RMG) Sector Project (SREUP) Attached with the circular.

Pre-finance credit facility is also offered to eligible RMG factories under social-upgradation aiming at improving the safety/health/hygienic facility of workers and workplace environment to overcome covid-19 pandemic situation.

Payment schedule and other condition will be as per the SMESPD Circular No.1 dated March 31, 2019.
Please bring the contents of the circular letter to the notice of the concerned clientele.
