SPA Circular Letter No. 02: Purchase of fuel/oil in foreign exchange by Airlines/ Shipping lines or their agents in Bangladesh
Authorized Dealers may settle foreign exchange transactions for fuel or oil purchases by airlines, shipping lines, or their agents in Bangladesh through the FCY RTGS platform. This directive serves as an amendment to SPA Circular No. 01 dated November 15, 2021, to facilitate easier transactions. All other relevant instructions regarding these transactions remain unchanged.

To bring ease in transactions, Authorized Dealers (ADs) may settle these FX transactions through the FCY RTGS (Foreign Currency Real Time Gross Settlement) platform. All other relevant instructions shall remain unchanged. You are advised to bring the contents of this circular letter to the notice of your relevant customers.
