State Bank of Pakistan Bank Holiday on January 1, 2026
The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed for public dealing on Thursday, January 1, 2026, which is observed as a Bank Holiday. All banks, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and Microfinance Banks (MFBs) must also remain closed for public dealing on that date. However, employees of these institutions are required to attend the office as usual.

The Presidents/ Chief Executives All Banks / DFIs / MFBs Dear Sir/Madam BANK HOLIDAY The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed for public dealing on Thursday, January 01, 2026 , which will be observed as ‘Bank Holiday’. All banks / DFIs / MFBs shall, therefore, remain closed for public dealing on the aforementioned date. However, all employees of the banks / DFIs / MFBs will attend the office as usual.
