Institutions must submit data for Calendar Years 2020 to 2024 via email within 30 days of this communication. Going forward, submissions are required within 15 days of the close of the annual financial reporting period.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Subject: Statistics on Corporate Governance of Banks/ DFIs/ MFBs
Please refer to BPRD Circular No. 05 dated November 22, 2021 on Corporate Governance Regulatory Framework ( https://www.sbp.org.pk/bprd/20... ) and ACFID Circular No. 01 dated May 16, 2025 on Revised Prudential Regulations (PRs) for Microfinance Banks ( https://www.sbp.org.pk/circulars/acfid-circular-no-01-of-2025 ).
Keeping in view the importance of statistics on Corporate Governance of Banks/DFIs/MFBs in areas like Risk Management, Necessary Disclosures, Efficiency and Soundness of Banks/DFIs/MFBs and, more importantly, country’s Financial Stability related policy formulation and implementation, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has decided to collect subject data, regularly, at annual frequency.
Please submit the enclosed file, filled in by or on behalf of company secretary, for the Calendar Year (CY) 2020 to 2024 to Statistics and Data Services Department (SDSD) of SBP, through email ( Banking.Statistics@sbp.org.pk ), within 30 days of this communication. Going forward, subject data is required to be submitted, through above email to this Department, regularly within 15 days, of the period closed for your Banks/DFIs/MFBs’ annual financial reports.
