11 April 2024 TERMINATION OF LONG-TERM INSURANCE BUSINESS The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) exists to supervise financial institutions and financial services, and to advise the Minister of Finance on matters relating to financial institutions and financial services in terms of the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority Act, 2001 (Act No. 3 of 2001). The Registrar, in terms of the provisions of the Long-term Insurance Act, 1998 (Act No. 5 of 1998) hereby give notice to the public that the registration as insurance agent or re￾insurance agent or insurance broker or reinsurance broker (hereafter referred to as insurance intermediaries), of the following persons has been cancelled in terms of section 59(3)(b) of the Long-term Insurance Act, 1998 (Act No. 5 of 1998).
