Today, the fee for redeeming invalid banknotes is raised
Effective September 1, 2026, the fee for redeeming invalid banknotes will increase from 200 kronor to 300 kronor per application. This adjustment is made to account for the administrative costs associated with processing these cases.

For invalid banknotes submitted from today, September 1, 2026, the fee is raised from the current 200 kronor to 300 kronor per application. This is done considering the administrative costs of handling the cases.
