The financial regulator has prohibited existing borrowers from increasing working capital loan limits during the final month of each quarter (Ashoj, Poush, Chaitra, Ashar). While loan renewals and disbursements within approved limits remain permitted during these months, any limit approvals or increases must be processed and disbursed in the following month. This restriction explicitly excludes new borrowers, who remain eligible for standard working capital financing.

Working Capital Loans Not Allowed in the Final Month of the Quarter (Ashoj, Poush, Chaitra, Ashar)?
A restriction has been placed on increasing limits for existing borrowers during the final month of the quarter (Ashoj, Poush, Chaitra, Ashar). While there is no restriction on renewing loans and disbursing loans within approved limits during these months, if necessary, loan limits can be approved or increased in that month and disbursed in the following month. This restriction does not apply to new borrowers.
