Subject: 109th Commission Meeting.
The 109th Commission Meeting was held on 07/07/2026 at the Commission's meeting room under the chairmanship of Mr. Masud Khan, Chairman of BSEC. The following decisions were taken in the meeting among others:
United Commercial Bank PLC applied to raise a total capital of 775,98,79,440/- BDT by issuing 77,59,87,944 ordinary shares of 10.00 (ten) BDT value each as rights shares at a ratio of 1:2 (1 rights share for every 2 existing shares) at a price of 10.00 BDT per share. In this context, the Commission has approved the matter today in the Commission meeting. The funds raised from the rights share issue of United Commercial Bank PLC will be used for the regular business operations of the bank.
In today's meeting, the Commission approved the draft prospectus and the summary (Abridged Version) of the open-ended mutual fund 'Blue-Wealth First Stable Return Fund'. The primary target amount of the fund is 30 (thirty) crore BDT. Among this, the promoter 'Blue-Wealth Assets Limited' has contributed 3 (three) crore BDT, and the remaining 27 (twenty-seven) crore BDT will remain open for general investors. The net asset value per unit of the fund is 10 BDT. 'Blue-Wealth Assets Limited' is serving as the asset manager of the said fund. 'Sandhani Life Insurance Company Ltd. (SLIC)' and 'Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC.' are working as the trustee and custodian of the fund, respectively.
