The Australian Securities and Investments Commission withdrew Regulatory Guide 139 on 15 August 2023 following the establishment of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. AFCA commenced operations on 1 November 2018, replacing the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Credit and Investments Ombudsman as the single external dispute resolution scheme.
