CSA Multilateral Staff Notice 58-314: Review of Disclosure Regarding Women on Boards and in Executive Officer Positions - Year 8 Report
The Canadian Securities Administrators issued this eighth annual report analyzing disclosure trends regarding women on boards and in executive officer positions for TSX-listed issuers. The review found that 24% of board seats were held by women, with significant correlations between diversity targets and higher female representation. Staff recommended that issuers adopt common tabular formats to improve the consistency and comparability of their corporate governance disclosures.
