ACD Circular Letter No. 02: Agricultural loan disbursement in newly included 111 enclaves in Bangladesh

Regarding agricultural loan disbursement for the benefit of residents of the 111 enclaves included in Bangladesh territory under the Bangladesh-India Land Boundary Agreement.

Dear Sir,

Reference is drawn to your attention to ACD Circular Letter No.-04, dated 02 November, 2015, issued by this department on the subject cited above.

The aforementioned Circular Letter mentioned that until the issue of land ownership regarding agricultural land for providing agricultural loans for the benefit of residents of the 111 enclaves included in Bangladesh is resolved, a certificate from the Upazila Executive Officer/Sub-Registrar should be obtained regarding land ownership. From now on, agricultural and fisheries loans will be disbursed in accordance with the Agricultural and Fisheries Loan Policy and Circular, subject to obtaining a certificate from the 'Upazila Executive Officer/Assistant Commissioner (Land)' instead of the 'Upazila Executive Officer/Sub-Registrar'.

Furthermore, other matters mentioned in ACD Circular Letter No.-04 concerning this will remain unchanged.

This directive will take effect immediately.
