AMENDATORY CIRCULAR 12/23 TO THE SINGLE CIRCULAR FOR INSURANCE AND SURETY COMPANIES

The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, based on the provisions of articles 366, section II, 367, section II, 372, sections VI, XIII and XLII, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions, and

CONSIDERING

That in accordance with the provisions of article 48 of the Internal Regulations of the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, the days on which the work of said Commission is suspended, or when its offices remain closed, prior notice given, will be considered non-business days for all legal effects, except in the case of enabling days for the practice of inspection visits, in terms of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions and other applicable legal provisions.

That, on the occasion of the upcoming vacation period of the personnel of said Commission, the days on which it will suspend its work and its offices will remain closed are made known, considering such days as non-business days for all legal effects.

In view of the foregoing, the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties has resolved to modify the Single Circular for Insurance and Surety Companies in the following terms:

AMENDATORY CIRCULAR 12/23 TO THE SINGLE CIRCULAR FOR INSURANCE AND SURETY COMPANIES

(Annex 13.2.1.)

SOLE. - Annex 13.3.1. of the Single Circular for Insurance and Surety Companies is modified.

TRANSITORY PROVISIONS

FIRST. - Publish in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

SECOND. - This Amendatory Circular shall enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

ANNEX 13.3.1.

DAYS THAT WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-BUSINESS DAYS DUE TO THE VACATION PERIOD OF THE COMMISSION PERSONNEL

It is informed that the 2023 vacation period for the Commission personnel will comprise from December 20, 2023 to January 4, 2024, resuming work on January 5, 2024. During said period, the deadlines established by the applicable regulations will not run and will be considered as non-business days for all corresponding legal effects.

The foregoing provision shall not be applicable in the case of procurement procedures for acquisitions, leases and services.
