Amendatory Circular 15/22 to the Single Circular for Insurance and Bonding
This amendatory circular modifies Annexes 34.1.21-b and 34.4.3 of the Single Circular for Insurance and Bonding, updating the General Registry of Foreign Reinsurers and the list of authorized representative offices. AMENDATORY CIRCULAR 15/22 TO THE SINGLE CIRCULAR FOR INSURANCE AND BONDING

The National Insurance and Bonding Commission, based on the provisions of articles 107, 256, 366, sections II and X, 372, sections VI, IX and XLII, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Bonding Institutions, and
CONSIDERATIONS
That in terms of what is established in article 107 of the Law of Insurance and Bonding Institutions, in accordance with Chapter 34.1. of the Single Circular for Insurance and Bonding, it is the competence of the National Insurance and Bonding Commission to maintain the General Registry of Foreign Reinsurers in which first-order foreign reinsurers that meet solvency and stability requirements to carry out operations and comply with the diversification of liabilities assumed by insurance institutions and mutual societies and bonding institutions of the country appear; which implies following up, among others, on the registration, cancellation and changes in the legal situation presented by such foreign entities.
That in terms of what is provided in Provision 34.4.3 of the Single Circular for Insurance and Bonding, information regarding the Representative Offices authorized by the National Insurance and Bonding Commission to establish themselves in the Mexican Republic, in accordance with article 108 of the Law of Insurance and Bonding Institutions, is made known through Annex 34.4.3 of the aforementioned Circular.
That it is necessary to keep Annexes 34.1.21-b and 34.4.3. of the Single Circular for Insurance and Bonding updated, with information regarding the granting of registration in the General Registry of Foreign Reinsurers of first-order foreign reinsurers that meet the solvency and stability requirements to carry out operations and comply with the diversification of liabilities assumed by insurance institutions and mutual societies and bonding institutions of the country, as well as changes in the legal situation presented by such foreign entities; likewise, on the information that said reinsurers provide to the National Insurance and Bonding Commission regarding the Representative Offices authorized by the National Insurance and Bonding Commission to establish themselves in the Mexican Republic, in accordance with article 108 of the Law of Insurance and Bonding Institutions.
Based on the foregoing, the National Insurance and Bonding Commission has resolved to issue the following modification to the Single Circular for Insurance and Bonding in the following terms:

SINGLE. - Annexes 34.1.21-b and 34.4.3. of the Single Circular for Insurance and Bonding are modified.
TRANSITORY PROVISIONS
SINGLE. - This Amendatory Circular shall enter into force the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
The foregoing is made known to you, based on articles 107, 256, 366, sections II and X, 372, sections VI, IX and XLII, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Bonding Institutions.
