Amending Circular 6/24 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular
The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties amends Annex 35.1.9 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular to update the list of authorized Reinsurance Intermediaries as of June 30, 2024. The document publishes the names of 36 specific entities authorized to intermediate reinsurance or surety operations with Institutions and Mutual Societies. This modification takes effect the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

Amending Circular 6/24 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular

AMENDING CIRCULAR 6/24 OF THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETY CIRCULAR
(Annex 35.1.9.)
The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, based on the provisions of articles 106, 366,
paragraph II, 372, paragraphs VI and XLII, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions, and:
CONSIDERING
That in terms of what is established in article 106 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions,
in conjunction with Chapter 35.1 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular, it is the competence of the
National Commission of Insurance and Sureties to authorize Reinsurance Intermediaries who can intermediate
reinsurance or surety operations with Institutions and Mutual Societies, which implies giving attention, among others, to the acts of authorization, revocation and changes in legal status that such entities present, and whose information for consultation is made known through Annex 35.1.9 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular.
That, in view of the foregoing, it is necessary to update Annex 35.1.9 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular regarding the list of authorized Reinsurance Intermediaries.
For the aforementioned reasons, the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties has resolved to issue the following modification to the Single Insurance and Surety Circular in the following terms:

SINGLE. - Annex 35.1.9 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular is modified.
TRANSITORY PROVISIONS
FIRST.-
Publish in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
SECOND. - This Amending Circular shall enter into force the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
