Amendments to the Law on the Regulation of the Financial and Monetary Sector
The Central Bank is authorized to require any person to provide information, documents, or explanations, and to produce records in their possession. The amendments grant the Central Bank the power to enter premises, inspect records, examine computer systems, and take photographs or video recordings. Additionally, the Central Bank may require individuals to undergo examination under oath, submit signed written reports, and provide explanations regarding inspected items. The definition of "financial institution" is updated to include entities defined under various specific financial laws.
