In the context of paying the monthly "Haor/Deep/Char Allowance" to permanent officers/employees of state-owned commercial banks working in 16 upazilas declared as Haor/Deep/Char,

With reference to the Government Notification No.- 53.00.0000.311.99.008.17-492 (copy enclosed) dated 09 December 2021 of the Policy and Economic Incentives Branch, Financial Institutions Department, Ministry of Finance, you are hereby directed to implement the instructions mentioned in the letter accordingly.

In coordination with Government Notification No. 04.00.0000.512.38.011.17.76 dated 18.02.2019 AD of the Cabinet Division and Government Notification No. 07.00.0000.173.41.029.15-48 dated 05.05.2019 AD of the Finance Division, and in light of the opinion of Letter No. 07.00.0000.173.41.029.15-90 dated 05.10.2021 AD of the Finance Division, the Government has decided to pay the "Haor/Deep/Char Allowance" at the following monthly rates to permanent officers/employees of state-owned commercial banks working in 16 upazilas declared as Haor/Deep/Char:

2. The said allowance shall be effective from the date of issuance of this notification.
