Context regarding the name change of 'Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited' to 'Export Import Bank of Bangladesh PLC.'
In accordance with Rule 11K(a) of the Companies Act, 1994, the Bangladesh Bank has changed the name of 'Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited' to 'Export Import Bank of Bangladesh PLC' (in English: Export Import Bank of Bangladesh PLC.) in the list of scheduled banks, effective from Wednesday, 15 May 2024, corresponding to 14 June 1431. A copy of the notification No. BRPD(LS-1)/745(46)/2024-4007 issued on 15 May 2024 regarding this matter is enclosed herewith for your information and necessary action.
