Dear Sir, Regarding the fixation of 25 March 2020 as the upper age limit for candidates in recruitment circulars published up to 30 June 2023 for direct recruitment.

1. Reference is invited to the letter of the Ministry of Public Administration dated 22 September 2022, Source No. 05.00.0000.170.11.017.20-149 (attached).

2. Through BRPD Circular Letter No. 48, dated 25 November 2021, instructions were given to take necessary measures to fix 25 March 2020 as the upper age limit for candidates in recruitment circulars published up to 31 December 2021.

3. Now, in view of the COVID-19 situation, where some banks could not publish recruitment circulars for direct recruitment, instructions are hereby given to take necessary measures to fix 25 March 2020 as the upper age limit for candidates in recruitment circulars published up to 30 June 2023.

4. This instruction is issued under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.

This instruction shall come into force immediately.
