The Bangladesh Bank directs all scheduled banks to fix 25 March 2020 as the upper age limit for candidates in direct recruitment circulars published up to 30 June 2023. This instruction applies specifically to banks that were unable to publish recruitment notices due to the COVID-19 situation. The directive is issued under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991, and takes effect immediately.
