1. The Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) will conduct the nationwide data collection program for the Economic Census 2024 from December 10, 2024, to December 26, 2024. In this program, data will be collected regarding the identity, economic activities, workforce, assets, and basic facilities of all economic units in the country. The data obtained from this census will present a detailed picture of the country's economic situation, which will play an important role in the new Bangladesh's development.

2. Now, in order to conduct the Economic Census 2024 smoothly and successfully, you are hereby directed to provide information and necessary assistance to the census enumerators.

3. This directive is issued under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.
