BRPD Circular Letter No. 53: Providing required information along with necessary assistance for the Economic Census 2024
The Bangladesh Bank directs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to provide information and necessary assistance to census enumerators for the Economic Census 2024, which is scheduled to take place from December 10 to December 26, 2024. This directive, issued under Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991, requires banks to facilitate the collection of data regarding the identity, economic activities, workforce, assets, and basic facilities of all economic units in the country.
