Regarding the name change of "Bangladesh Development Bank Limited" to "Bangladesh Development Bank PLC."

In accordance with Rule 11C(1) of the Companies Act, 1994, Bangladesh Bank has changed the name of 'Bangladesh Development Bank Limited' to 'Bangladesh Development Bank PLC' (in English: Bangladesh Development Bank PLC.) in the list of scheduled banks, effective Monday, 12 December 2023 corresponding to 27 Agrahayan 1430. A copy of the notification No. BRPD(LS-1)/745(6)/2023-10694 issued on 12 December 2023 is enclosed herewith for your information and necessary action.
