Dear Sir,
Regarding opening bank accounts for freedom fighters.
It has been decided in this regard that freedom fighters shall be allowed to open bank accounts by depositing 10 (ten) Taka against their National Identity Card and 'Freedom Fighter Honorarium Payment Register', with the aim of providing the Freedom Fighter Honorarium through bank accounts. No obligation to maintain a minimum balance shall be imposed on such accounts, and no type of charge/fee shall be collected from these accounts.
In light of the above, you are advised to take necessary measures to ensure the provision of Freedom Fighter Honorarium and banking services for them.
This instruction shall come into force immediately.
