BRPD Circular No. 10: Guidelines for banking services at customer premises
All scheduled banks in Bangladesh are advised to prepare schemes for offering pickup and delivery services at customer premises in accordance with specified guidelines. Banks may provide these services to corporate, government, public sector, and individual customers, subject to strict operational, security, and transparency requirements. The circular mandates that services be covered by insurance, charges be disclosed, and a grievance redressal mechanism be established, while explicitly prohibiting the establishment of booths or counters at customer premises. Prior approval from Bangladesh Bank is not required provided these conditions are met.
