The Washington Trust Company, a Rhode Island-chartered bank, applied to establish a loan production office in New Haven, Connecticut, with a proposed effective date of July 1, 2022. The Commissioner approved Trumbull Credit Union, Inc.'s application to amend its bylaws and expand its field of membership to include residents of Trumbull, Fairfield, Easton, Bridgeport, Monroe, Shelton, Stratford, Milford, Orange, Derby, and Newtown. Written comments regarding these actions must be submitted to the Banking Commissioner within ten business days of the bulletin's date.

BANK ACTIVITY

Interstate Loan Production Office

On May 27, 2022, The Washington Trust Company, of Westerly , a Rhode Island-chartered bank, filed an application pursuant to Section 36a-412(d) of the Connecticut General Statutes, seeking approval to establish a loan production office at 265 Church Street, Suite 1010 in New Haven, Connecticut. The proposed effective date to establish this office is July 1, 2022.

CREDIT UNION ACTIVITY

Field of Membership Expansion

On May 27, 2022, the Commissioner approved the application of Trumbull Credit Union, Inc. to amend its bylaws and expand its field of membership pursuant to Section 36a-437a(h)(3) and 36a-438a(d)(1) of the Connecticut General Statutes to add residents of Trumbull, Fairfield, Easton, Bridgeport, Monroe, Shelton, Stratford, Milford, Orange, Derby and Newtown.
