Conversion
On June 1, 2026, the Commissioner approved an application from United Business & Industry Federal Credit Union , a federal credit union headquartered in Plainville, Connecticut, pursuant to Section 36a-469b of the Connecticut General Statues to convert into a state credit union. The converted entity will operate under the name UBI Financial Credit Union . The proposed target date for this conversion is June 30, 2026.
