The Central Bank of Jordan amended Article 7(d) of the ATM Instructions No. (2018/6) to require banks to print the transaction authorization number on ATM receipts or provide it via alternative means such as Internet Banking or SMS. This directive applies to all banks operating in the Kingdom of Jordan and was issued by Governor Dr. Ziad Fariz on November 22, 2020.

Circular to Banks Operating in the Kingdom
Greetings,
With reference to the ATM Instructions No. (2018/6) dated 2018/4/11, it has been decided to amend the provisions of Article (7), Clause (d) of these Instructions to read as follows:
"Printing the transaction authorization number executed through ATMs on the receipts issued from them, or providing the transaction authorization number to the customer through another suitable means, for example, but not limited to (Internet Banking or via SMS)."
