Circular to All Licensed Banks
Greetings,
With reference to our Circular No. (6/10/14633) dated 2015/11/26, and based on the provisions of Article (74/d) of the Banks Law No. (28) of 2000, we wish to inform you of our approval for you to provide Crefi-Jordan with information regarding credit facilities owed by your customers as of the date of this approval and for any credit facilities granted subsequently, without obtaining prior consent from these customers ("Access Permit"). We emphasize that it is not permissible to include the name of the guarantor for any credit facility granted to them and/or the owner of the collateral corresponding to that credit facility, if it belongs to a third party other than the customer concerned, except after obtaining prior written consent from each of them in accordance with legal references and as appropriate.
We reaffirm the necessity of complying with the provisions of the Credit Information Law No. (15) of 2010 and the system issued pursuant to it, and taking the necessary measures to provide the company with the required information as soon as possible, as well as ensuring your institution's readiness to provide it with information for the previous three years, according to the actual situation.
Please accept our highest respect,
The Governor Dr. Ziad Faris
