Central Bank of Jordan: Renewal of Actuarial License for 2022

The Central Bank of Jordan requires actuaries to submit license renewal applications for 2022 by Thursday, November 25, 2021. Applicants must complete the renewal form available on the bank's website, provide a statement detailing actuarial work performed in the Kingdom during the year, and submit a certificate of good conduct from competent authorities. This deadline is set forty-five days before the license expiration date of December 31, 2021, in accordance with the Instructions for Licensing Actuaries and Regulating Their Work and Responsibilities No. (3) of 2003.

Dear Esteemed Actuaries,

Subject: Renewal of License for 2022

Based on the provisions of paragraph (a) of Article (11) of the Instructions for Licensing Actuaries and Regulating Their Work and Responsibilities No. (3) of 2003 and its amendments, which stipulate the following: "The actuary must submit an application to renew his license annually, no later than forty-five days before the expiration of his license, which falls on the thirty-first of December of each year, according to the form prepared for this purpose..."

We request that you submit your license renewal application for 2022 by no later than Thursday, November 25, 2021, and must provide us with the following:

  1. Completion of the license renewal form available on the website of the Central Bank of Jordan and attaching the requirements specified therein.
  2. A statement detailing the actuarial work performed in the Kingdom during the year.
  3. Providing us with a certificate of good conduct from the competent authorities.

We emphasize the necessity of submitting the application by the specified deadline above so that we can proceed with the procedures for its study and take the necessary action. Please note that the aforementioned forms are published on the website of the Central Bank of Jordan (www.cbj.gov.jo).
