Central Bank of Jordan: License Renewal for Adjusters and Loss Adjusters for 2022

Subject: License Renewal for 2022

Based on the provisions of paragraph (a) of Article (13) of the Instructions for Licensing Loss Adjusters and Adjusters and the Principles Regulating Their Work No. (8) of 2004 and its amendments, which stipulate the following:

"Loss adjusters or adjusters must submit an application for license renewal annually, no later than forty-five days before the expiration of their license, which falls on the 31st of December of each year, according to the form prepared for this purpose..."

We request that you submit your license renewal application for 2022 by no later than Thursday, November 25, 2021, and must provide the following:

1. Completion of the license renewal form available on the Central Bank of Jordan's website, along with the requirements specified therein.
2. A statement of loss settlement and adjustment activities conducted during the year, according to the form prepared for this purpose.
3. Signing the attached written declaration in accordance with the provisions of Articles (19) and (22) of the Instructions for Licensing Loss Adjusters and Adjusters and the Principles Regulating Their Work and its amendments No. (8) of 2004 and its amendments. (Attached)
4. Providing us with a certificate of no criminal record from the competent authorities.
5. Providing us with an updated copy of the commercial registry or the company registration certificate with the Companies Control, as applicable (extracted from the website).
6. Clarifying the detailed address of your office location and providing us with a recent copy of your office lease agreement.

We emphasize the necessity of submitting the application within the specified deadline above to enable us to proceed with the review procedures and take the necessary action. Please note that the aforementioned forms are published on the Central Bank of Jordan's website (www.cbj.gov.jo).
