CIEX No. 50/2022: Disabling Operation E09 – Direct Sale of Securities in the Integrated Payment Clearing System (LIP)
The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) disables Operation E09, defined as the direct sale of securities, within the Hybrid Clearing Module (MLH) of the Integrated Payment Clearing System (LIP). This measure takes effect immediately, in accordance with the Operational Guide for the SVDI approved by Resolution GGRAL – GAL No. 34/2022 on April 19, 2022. The prohibition applies to all participants of the MLH, preventing financial entities from processing fund transfers on behalf of clients purchasing securities offered by the BCB through this specific operation code.

The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) informs all participants in the Hybrid Clearing Module (MLH) of the Integrated Payment Clearing System (LIP) that, within the framework of the Operational Guide for the SVDI approved by Resolution GGRAL – GAL No. 34/2022 of April 19, 2022, effective immediately, Operation E09 DIRECT SALE OF SECURITIES is disabled (Fund transfer carried out by a financial entity on behalf of a client who purchases securities offered by the BCB. It must include the Unique Identification Code. Operation that is processed only in national currency):
