Circular 20/2010 — Amends Circular 2019/95

CIRCULAR 20/2010 Mexico, D.F., June 16, 2010 TO MULTIPLE BANKING INSTITUTIONS: SUBJECT: AMENDMENTS TO CIRCULAR 2019/95

The Bank of Mexico, based on Article 28 of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, sixth and seventh paragraphs; Articles 2, 3, fraction I, 24, and 31 of the Bank of Mexico Law; Article 22 of the Law for Transparency and Order of Financial Services; and Articles 8, third and sixth paragraphs, 10, 17, fraction I, and 20, fraction IV of the Internal Regulations of the Bank of Mexico, which grant it the authority to participate in the issuance of provisions through the Central Banking Provisions Directorate and the Operations and Payments Systems Directorate; Article 1 and IV of the Agreement on the Assignment of Administrative Units of the Bank of Mexico, with the objective of continuing to promote the proper functioning of payment systems and considering the issuance of Circular 17/2010 containing the "Rules of the Interbank Electronic Payment System," issued by this Central Institute and published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on June 15 of the current year, has resolved to repeal numeral M.85 of Circular 2019/95, to remain in the following terms:

"M.85. Repealed."

TRANSITORY SINGLE. This Circular enters into force on June 16, 2010.
