Circular 2026-0067: Local Reference Interest Rate for Residential Mortgage Loans for the Third Quarter of 2026

Dear General Manager:

In accordance with what is established in Article 4 of Law No. 3 of May 20, 1985, and modified by Law No. 399 of September 25, 2023, “By which a regime of preferential interest rates is established in certain Mortgage Loans,” we permit ourselves to inform you that, within the framework of the established norm, the calculation of the reference rate for the third quarter of 2026 was 6.38% annually.

In accordance with the above, the Local Reference Interest Rate for Residential Mortgage Loans, corresponding to the Third Quarter of the year 2026, is SIX POINT FIFTY PERCENT ANNUALLY (6.50%), which represents the fourth (1/4) of a percentage point closest to the calculation obtained in accordance with the norm. Note: This reference rate applies only to loans covered by Law No. 3 of May 20, 1985 and its modifications.
