The Bank of Mexico amends Article 3 and Annexes 2 and 3 of Circular 16/2012 and adds a definition for "UDIBONOS Market Makers" to Article 1. The modification restricts the status of bidders eligible to acquire segregated coupons of federal government development bonds denominated in investment units (UDIBONOS) exclusively to UDIBONOS Market Makers as determined by the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit. These rules apply to credit institutions and brokerage houses acting as market makers. The circular enters into force on the next business day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
