TO THE CREDIT INSTITUTIONS:

SUBJECT: MODIFICATIONS TO THE OPERATING RULES OF THE RECIPROCAL PAYMENTS AND CREDITS AGREEMENT SIGNED BY THE BANK OF MEXICO AND THE CENTRAL BANKS OF THE OTHER MEMBER COUNTRIES OF THE LATIN AMERICAN INTEGRATION ASSOCIATION (ALADI) AND THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.

The Bank of Mexico, based on Articles 28 of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, paragraphs six and seven; 24 of the Bank of Mexico Law; 22 of the Law for Transparency and Ordering of Financial Services; 8th, 10, 17 section I and 20 Bis section XV of the Internal Regulations of the Bank of Mexico, which grant it the authority to issue provisions through the Central Banking Provisions Directorate and the Banking Services and Operational Control Directorate, respectively; as well as on the Sole Article, sections I and IV of the Agreement on the Affiliation of the Administrative Units of the Bank of Mexico; with the objective of promoting the healthy development of the financial system and since the Central Bank of Bolivia and the Central Bank of Venezuela have made modifications to the catalog of institutions authorized to operate under the reciprocal payments and credits agreement signed by the Bank of Mexico and the Central Banks of the other member countries of the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI) and the Dominican Republic, has resolved to modify the Operating Rules of the reciprocal payments and credits agreement signed by the Bank of Mexico and the Central Banks of the other member countries of the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI) and the Dominican Republic.

For the above reasons, this Central Bank makes known that pages number A.II.5 and A.II.34 have been updated.
