AML/CFT/CPF SELF-ASSESSMENT QUESTIONNAIRE
As part of its risk-based approach to Anti-Money Laundering/Combatting the Financing of Terrorism and Proliferation Financing (collectively “AML”) supervision, the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (“Central Bank” / “Bank”) is seeking to introduce an AML Self-Assessment Questionnaire (“Questionnaire”).
The Questionnaire is intended to be completed periodically by all financial institutions under the purview of the Central Bank. The information obtained will be utilized by the Bank to ascertain individual institutions’ ML/TF/PF risks, controls and governance strength, and to determine the Bank’s on-site examination cycle.
The draft Questionnaire is being issued for feedback on its usability and the clarity of the questions. You may provide us with feedback on the specific questions asked within the Questionnaire, or alternatively you may provide general comments.
A soft copy of the draft AML Self-Assessment Questionnaire is appended and can also be accessed online at: https://www.central-bank.org.tt/core-functions/financial-stability/amlcft-draft-and-consultation-papers.
Comments and queries should be submitted electronically to aml@central-bank.org.tt by December 13, 2019.
The Central Bank values your feedback and looks forward to your timely response.
Yours sincerely
