Circular OPASI 2-742: Adjustments to Savings Deposits, Salary Accounts, and Special Accounts

Financial entities must incorporate the US dollar as an admitted currency for collections in Salary Accounts. Cash deposit and withdrawal operations for these US dollar accounts are mandatory at the account's branch of origin, with optional availability at other branches, ATMs, and self-service terminals depending on cash availability. The account's gratuity extends up to the amount of credits derived from the employment relationship, allowing unwithdrawn amounts to accumulate without a time limit.
