As part of its ongoing drive to improve efficiency, the MFSA has performed an enhancement in its systems to enable Licence Holders to submit resignation requests also for Directorship roles. This means that now Licence Holders need to follow all the procedures outlined in the Guidelines and Procedures, published with the afore-mentioned circular, also for Director roles of licence holders, with specific focus to Section 3.5 Resignation of an involvement. As per guidelines document, Licence Holders are also requested to indicate whether there are any regulatory implications for the resignation. Licence Holders are being reminded that it remains the responsibility of the licensed entity to ensure that all the data available on the Licence Holder Corporate Profile is properly maintained and up to date at all times. 14 October 2020
