The Central Bank of Jordan extends the validity of approvals for licensed money exchange companies to open transaction lines in foreign currencies and precious metals with external parties until April 17, 2019, or until the issuance of new systems and regulations under the Money Exchange Business Law, whichever occurs first. This extension applies to approvals that were originally set to expire on October 17, 2018, or earlier, and maintains the same conditions as previously granted. The directive aligns with the Board of Directors' decision dated September 2, 2018, which also extended compliance periods under Article 31 of the relevant law.
