CLARIFICATION to the text of Amending Circular 1/22 of the Single Insurance and Sureties Circular of January 3, 2022, published on January 11, 2022

CLARIFICATION TO THE TEXT OF AMENDING CIRCULAR 1/22 OF THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETIES CIRCULAR OF

JANUARY 3, 2022, PUBLISHED IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE OF THE FEDERATION ON JANUARY 11, 2022:

The Preamble and Title of the Circular say:

" AMENDING CIRCULAR 1/22 OF THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETIES CIRCULAR

(Eighty-Fourth and Eighty-Fifth Transitional Provisions): "

It should say:

" AMENDING CIRCULAR 1/22 OF THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETIES CIRCULAR

(Eighty-Fifth and Eighty-Sixth Transitional Provisions): "

Likewise, the SINGLE Provision says:

SINGLE. - The Eighty-Fourth and Eighty-Fifth Transitional Provisions are added to the

Single Insurance and Sureties Circular, to read as follows:

« EIGHTY-FOURTH.- The computation of deadlines for the renewal of

authorizations of Natural Person Agents and Attorneys-in-fact of Legal Entity Agents to which

Article 15, last paragraph, of the Regulation of Insurance and Sureties Agents refers, and

Provision 32.4.1. of the Single Insurance and Sureties Circular refer, suspended by

Amending Circular 4/20 of the Single Insurance and Sureties Circular published in the Official Gazette of the

Federation on March 27, 2020, resumes. The authorizations of Natural Person Agents and

Attorneys-in-fact of Legal Entity Agents that should have been renewed starting from that date

shall remain valid until September 30, 2022, including the authorizations that

must be renewed during the same period.»

« EIGHTY-FIFTH.- The authorizations of Provisional Agents whose validity was

extended by the publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation of Circular 3/21 on

March 19, 2021, shall remain valid until March 31, 2022.»

It should say:

SINGLE. - The Eighty-Fifth and Eighty-Sixth Transitional Provisions are added to the Single

Insurance and Sureties Circular, to read as follows:

367, section II, 372, sections VI, XXII and XLII, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Sureties Institutions.
