The European Commission adopted Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1159 to establish regulatory technical standards for the public disclosure of investment policy by investment firms, supplementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2033. The regulation mandates that investment firms, excluding small and non-interconnected entities, disclose specific quantitative and qualitative data using standardized templates, including the proportion of voting rights held, voting behavior, use of proxy advisors, and voting guidelines. It requires numeric values to be expressed with a minimum precision of two decimal places and sets a disclosure threshold for voting rights exceeding 5% of issued shares. The regulation entered into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union on 6 July 2022.
