Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/930 specifying fees for ESMA supervision of data reporting service providers
The European Commission establishes fees for the supervision of data reporting service providers (DRSPs) by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). Approved publication arrangements and approved reporting mechanisms must pay application fees of EUR 20,000 and authorisation fees of EUR 80,000 for their first services, with reduced rates for subsequent authorisations. Annual supervisory fees are calculated based on turnover relative to the total market, subject to a minimum of EUR 30,000 per service, with specific transitional fixed fees and calculation methods defined for 2022 and 2023.
