Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/889 correcting the Dutch language version of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2866
The European Commission corrects an error in Article 1(3), point (b), of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2866 within its Dutch language version. This correction addresses the circumstances under which the regulation does not apply to certain manufacturers regarding in-service verification of CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. The regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

correcting the Dutch language version of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2866 implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/631 of the European Parliament and of the Council by determining the procedures for performing the verification of the CO 2 emission and fuel consumption values of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in-service (in-service verification)
THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2019/631 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 setting CO 2 emission performance standards for new passenger cars and for new light commercial vehicles, and repealing Regulations (EC) No 443/2009 and (EU) No 510/2011 ( 1 ) , and in particular Article 7(9), third subparagraph and Article 13(4), first subparagraph, thereof,
Whereas:
(1)
The Dutch language version of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2866 ( 2 ) contains an error in Article 1(3), point (b), as regards the circumstances under which that regulation would not apply to certain manufacturers. The error affects the substance of the act.
(2)
The Dutch language version of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2866 should therefore be corrected accordingly. The other language versions are not affected.

The measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Climate Change Committee, delivered prior to the adoption of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2866,
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 2
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
