The Authority would like to remind persons previously exempt from the Company Service Providers Act, 2013, that applicationsfor authorisation under the Act will be accepted until 16 May 2021. All applications are to be submitted through the Licence Holder Portal (LH Portal). For further information on how to apply please refer to the Guidelines to the New CSP Regime Application Process. The MFSA would like to remind those providing company service provider services to third parties by way of business that they are required to apply for authorisation in terms of the Company Service Providers Act, as amended by Act L of 2020, irrespective of whether they are warranted professionals or otherwise. Anyone applying for authorisation in terms of the Company Service Providers Act after 16 May 2021 will be directed to a different application process and will not be able to provide any CSP services, even to existing clients, until the Authority authorises or declines their application. 5 May 2021
