The Ministry of Finance issued Decision 424/QD-BTC on March 29, 2018, approving the administrative procedure for registering online securities trading services. This decision implements simplified requirements under Circular 134/2017/TT-BTC, reducing the required document list from nine items to four. Additionally, the processing time for these registrations has been shortened from 35 working days to 20 working days.
On December 19, 2017, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular No. 134/2017/TT-BTC guiding electronic trading on the securities market; it took effect from March 1, 2018, and replaced Circular No. 87/2013/TT-BTC dated June 28, 2013.
According to the law on controlling administrative procedures, on March 29, 2018, the Ministry of Finance approved Decision No. 424/QD-BTC announcing one (01) administrative procedure in the securities sector: Registration for providing online securities trading services.
The administrative procedure for Registration for providing online securities trading services has been modified to be simpler, reducing the file components from nine document items (Article 9 of Circular No. 87/2013/TT-BTC) to four document items (Article 11 of Circular No. 134/2017/TT-BTC) and shortening the resolution time from 35 working days (Clause 3, Article 10 of Circular No. 87/2013/TT-BTC) to 20 working days (Clause 3, Article 12 of Circular No. 134/2017/TT-BTC).
