MINISTRY OF ECONOMY AND FINANCES DECREE No. 2025-420 appointing the members of the Supervisory College of the Banking and Financial Supervision Commission

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,

Having regard to the Constitution,

Having regard to Law No. 2020-011 of 1 September 2020 on banking law,

Having regard to Decree No. 2024-1612 of 22 August 2024, appointing the members of the Government,

Having regard to Decree No. 2024-1456 of 12 July 2024 appointing the Prime Minister, Head of Government,

Having regard to Decree No. 2019-093 of 13 February 2019, modified and supplemented by Decrees No. 2021-699 of 7 July 2021, No. 2023-085 of 1 February 2023 and No. 2024-050 of 20 January 2024 fixing the duties of the Minister of Economy and Finance as well as the general organization of its Ministry,

On the proposal of the Minister of Economy and Finance,

In the Council of Ministers,

DECREES

Article 1: In application of Article 66 of Law No. 2020-011 of 1 September 2020 on banking law, the supervisory college is composed of eleven (11) members, including four (4) members appointed due to their honorability and their expertise in banking, finance, law, economics, audit and accounting, and two (2) members appointed due to their honorability and their expertise in the field of insurance and new information and communication technologies.

The following are appointed members of the supervisory college of the Banking and Financial Supervision Commission, for a term of five (5) years, due to their honorability and their expertise in banking, finance, law, economics, audit and accounting:

• Mrs. RAHARIN'NY Soa Nicole,
• Mrs. Tiana RAMPARANY RAMANARIVOSOA,

The following are appointed members of the supervisory college of the Banking and Financial Supervision Commission for a term of five (5) years due to their honorability and their expertise in the field of insurance and new information and communication technologies:

• Mr. Gil RAZAFINTSALAMA,
• Mr. Rabaonarison ANDRIANKOTONJANAHARY.

Article 2: All provisions contrary to those of this decree are and remain repealed.

Article 3: Due to urgency and in accordance with the provisions of Article 6 of Ordinance No. 62-041 of 19 September 1962 relating to general provisions of internal law and private international law, this decree enters into force immediately upon its publication by radio broadcast and/or television or display, independently of its insertion in the Official Journal of the Republic.

Article 4: The Minister of Economy and Finance, the Minister of Communication and Culture and the Governor of Banky Foiben'i Madagasikara are charged, each insofar as it concerns him, with the implementation of this Decree which will be published in the Official Journal of the Republic.
