DFIM Circular Letter No. 01: Financial Institutions' branches will remain closed on 05 January, 2014 (Sunday) due to 10th National Parliamentary Election
Financial institutions are directed to keep all branches closed on Sunday, 05 January 2014, in 59 districts to allow employees to vote in the 10th National Parliamentary Election, following a general holiday declaration by the Ministry of Public Administration. This closure applies to all operations in these 59 districts, while branches in five specific districts (Joypurhat, Rajbari, Madaripur, Shariatpur, and Chandpur) must remain open to facilitate voting. Management of financial institutions is instructed to make necessary arrangements for the operation of branches in these five districts.
