Financial institutions must keep their regional offices and all branches closed on Monday, 18 March 2019, in specific Upazila areas designated for the second phase of the 5th Upazila Parishad General Election to facilitate voting. This closure requirement applies only to branches located within the listed election areas; it does not apply to areas where financial institutions do not have branches or booths. The directive covers 117 specific Upazilas across 15 districts, including Thakurgaon, Rangpur, Gaibandha, Dinajpur, Bogura, Naogaon, Pabna, Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Faridpur, Chittagong, Rangamati, Bandarban, Khagrachhari, and Cox's Bazar.

Dear Sir,
Regarding the declaration of general holidays in the election area (relevant Upazila) on Monday, 18 March, 2019, for the polling day of the 2nd phase of the general election of the 5th Upazila Parishad.
In light of the letter No. 17.00.0000.079.40.008.19-136 dated 10/03/2019 from the Election Commission Secretariat on the aforementioned subject, for the purpose of enabling employees to exercise their voting rights and facilitating voting during the election of the following Upazila Parishads in the 2nd phase of the 5th Upazila Parishad, all regional offices and branches of financial institutions located in the relevant election areas will remain closed on Monday, 18 March, 2019.
