DFIM Circular Letter No. 03: Keeping FIs branches closed in the election area on the 18th March 2019 Monday for the 5th Upazilla Parishad General Election (2nd Phase)
Financial institutions must keep their regional offices and all branches closed on Monday, 18 March 2019, in specific Upazila areas designated for the second phase of the 5th Upazila Parishad General Election to facilitate voting. This closure requirement applies only to branches located within the listed election areas; it does not apply to areas where financial institutions do not have branches or booths. The directive covers 117 specific Upazilas across 15 districts, including Thakurgaon, Rangpur, Gaibandha, Dinajpur, Bogura, Naogaon, Pabna, Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Faridpur, Chittagong, Rangamati, Bandarban, Khagrachhari, and Cox's Bazar.
